How to Upload a Product?

Uploading a product on Garjoo is quick and hassle-free! Before you create your product, ensure you have signed into your registered Garjoo account by selecting Sign In. If you are an unregistered Garjoo user, you need to register an account prior to posting.

To create product:

1. After creating a store with Garjoo, go to your account dashboard by selecting “ Dashboard” from the top right navigation bar, you will be redirected to your account.
2. Then, click on “My Store” on the left panel and on “Add New Product” which will provide you with a product form.
3. Select a Category where you want to enlist your product, then give a proper title, detailed description, price, and location.
4. You can upload up to as many pictures of your product (JPEG/JPG/PNG format) and search for the best place where your product will be available then submit the form

Why is Location Mandatory?

Location is one of the main aspects when buying or selling on Garjoo. Being able to find an item that’s in a specific area simplifies the buying process. That’s why we’re now requiring sellers to include their location when posting a product on Garjoo.

Here are the benefits:

1. You can search for items or services in a specific area rather than having to sort through products in an entire city.
2. A map will appear on each and every product, giving a visual idea of where the item is located.
3. You’re not required to include your specific home address, but if you do, a red pin will drop on your specific address on the map.

How to Edit Your Product?

1. First, log into your account then go to your account section.
2. Then, click on the “ My Product ” section from the left panel, select your products then you’ll be redirected to a list of products you posted.
3. From the list of products, select the one you want to edit and click on the “Edit” icon button from the action section, you will be provided a form with the existing information. Make necessary changes, and submit the form.

How to Delete a Product?

1. First, log into your account then go to your account section.
2. Then, click on the “ My Product ” section from the left panel, select your products then you will be redirected to a list of products you posted.
3. From the list of products, select the one you want to delete, click on the “Delete” icon button from the action section, and confirm to delete the product.

Posting Classified Ads

3. 3. First, you need to select a Classified Type then a list of Categories related to the selected type will be provided. Select where you want to enlist your ads, then give a proper title, detailed description, price, and location. You can also specify that you are a provider or a seeker.
4. 4. You can upload up to five pictures of your ads (JPG/JPEG/PNG format) and search for the best suitable place and select based on autocomplete suggestions.

How to Promote Ads & Products?
Before you post or promote your ads and products, ensure you have signed into your registered Garjoo account by selecting Sign In. If you are an unregistered Garjoo user, you need to register an account prior to posting.
To promote ads or products:

1. After signing in to Garjoo, go to your account dashboard by selecting “My Account” from the top right navigation bar.
2. You will be redirected to your account, then click on “My Ads” on the left panel for Ads or “Market” for products. Click on “View your Ads” or “View your Products” and you will be provided with a list of products or ads.
3. Select the one from the list which you would like to promote then click on the “Recommendation” section from the table, a popup model will appear, fill up the time duration and select a payment method and your ads or product will be promoted and will appear on the homepage.

What Are The Benefits of Promoting Ads or Products?

Did you know that ads or products with paid features typically receive more views than ads or products without? That’s because paid features offer optimal placement and unique characteristics to help your ad stand out! More views on your ads or products can lead to more replies and a faster sale or transaction.
Your Ads or products will appear on the home page and top of the list from the search results. Cost of Promoting Ads or Products? The cost of promoting your ad or product depends on the time duration and category. The prices are set so that the feature remains a premium option for those that decide to purchase them. For example, if the price for Top Ads was set too low, there would be too many Top Ads in that section, thereby your featured ad would have less visibility. To determine feature prices:

1. First, log into your account then go to your account section.
2. Then, go to your list of ads or products, select the one you want to promote, and you will be provided with the cost according to the time duration you selected.
3. Payment can be made through E-Sewa and Khalti.
   Note: prices may change at any time.

How to Search For Products / Classified Ads?

When you’re looking for something really specific, your searches may need a little something extra to narrow in on that perfect item. The Search feature of Garjoo allows you to bring your searching experience to the next level:

1. Searching for Products and Ads in Garjoo is efficient as you can search based on categories and keywords. You can see a search section in the top navigation from where you can select the related category for products and ads then enter the relevant keywords, which will redirect you to a filter page with a list of ads or products.

How to Filter Products / Classified Ads?
If keywords and categories aren’t enough to find exactly what you’re looking for, you may find the options on the left side of the page useful. This section allows you to remove any listings that don’t fit a specific filter.
Product Filter Options:

3. Location

Classified Ads Filter Options:

1. Category
2. Price
3. Location
4. Type (I want / I Need)
5. Job Type (In Job Section)
   Note: Be sure that you have chosen a category and subcategory first, as these options change to be specific for those types of ads.

How to Order Products?
We help people buy and sell products, find housing, get jobs, buy and sell household goods, and much more.
To order products:

1. Select the items you want to purchase from the list of products. After you’ve redirected to the product page, at the bottom right of the page you will find a checkout button. If the checkout button is disabled then you’ll have to login first before you can checkout.
2. Then a pop-up form will appear where you need to fill up them with the required information and make payments and finally your order will be received by the seller.
3. You can check your order from your account section. Select “Order & Booking” from the left panel then select “Orders” and you will be provided with the list of your orders. You can also check through your email inbox.

How to Book Hotels?

1. Select the hotel ads from the list, click on the “Book” button from the bottom right section of the ads page. If the button is disabled then you have to log in first.
2. Then a pop-up form will appear where you need to fill up them with the required information and make payments and finally your hotel will be booked.
3. You can check your order from your account section. Select “Order & Booking” from the left panel then select “Booking” and you will be provided with the list of your hotels booked. You can also check through your email inbox.

How Do I Register?
Registration is required to post an ad, and it comes with great benefits and features.
To register on Garjoo:

1. Select the post add button at the top of the screen.
2. Fill out the information required and click on the “Register” button.
3. An email will be sent to the address provided. Please follow the instructions in the email to complete registration.
4. You can also register and log in using your Gmail or Facebook.

How to Edit my Account?

1. You can edit your account by logging into your account, clicking on your account section on the top left side, and tapping on the “Edit Profile” button.
2. You can reset your password by clicking on the “Reset the Password” button on the login page just above the login button. Then, provide the email you intend to change the password.
